Akhil Naru

Akhil Naru is an accomplished professional in AI/ML product management with a background in both founding startups and leading product teams at established companies. They co-founded Kheyti, achieving significant improvements in greenhouse technology, and served as a product manager at Portea, where they helped double retention for their physical therapy services. At Walmart Global Tech, Akhil currently works as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on data science and machine learning initiatives, after having previously contributed to impactful AI/ML projects at Zendesk. They hold an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a joint BSc and MSc from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Outside of their professional pursuits, Akhil engages in improv, which informs their collaborative approach to ambiguity and innovation.
