Alexander Troughton has extensive experience in operational management and business development, particularly in the grocery and retail sectors. Currently serving as the RGM of Grocery & Retail for EMEA & UK at Uber since September 2018, Alexander has progressed through various roles, including General Manager and Senior Operations Manager for Uber Eats. Prior to Uber, Alexander worked at International Market Management, where significant contributions included developing market entry strategies and negotiating franchise agreements for Jamie Oliver's restaurant and Wendy’s in India. Alexander has also held marketing and business development roles at Jamie's Italian in India. Education includes a BA in Theology from the University of Oxford and an MBA from IE Business School.
