Andrea Munoz has a strong background in software development, beginning with a role as a Software Development Engineer at PayPal, where work involved Scala and Java for RESTful backend services and infrastructure setup with Puppet and Vagrant. Following this, Andrea served as a Software Developer at SIRCA, contributing to a large codebase primarily in Java and C++, where responsibilities included reworking back-end systems, maintaining existing code, writing testing scripts, and developing data conversion software. At Oracle, Andrea was part of the UX team for the next-generation Oracle Banking Platform. Currently, as an Engineering Manager at Uber since May 2018, Andrea leads a team focused on enhancing the core ordering and shopping experience in the UberEats app. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UNSW and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University.
