Arijit Basu is a Senior Engineering Manager currently leading a team of over 50 engineers at Uber, focusing on the Reservations Dispatch team and solving real-world complex challenges at scale. Previously, Arijit worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft from 2008 to 2018, contributing to the Bing Core Search team by developing content recommendation systems and enhancing the Bing Knowledge Graph. Arijit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
