Bo Yan

Bo Yan is a Staff Software Engineer at Uber since June 2018, specializing in global network infrastructure lifecycle management, including automated processes for onboarding, offboarding, and repair. With prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Uber, Bo has successfully led the development of a gateway service for asset and operational status, initiated a model-driven network configuration management system, and implemented formal network verification and CI/CD frameworks. Before joining Uber, Bo was a Graduate Student Research Assistant pursuing a Ph.D. at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and collaborated as an intern at AT&T, where Bo developed a virtualized media function for multimedia session management. Bo holds a B.S. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
