Brett Ory

Brett Ory is a Staff Data Scientist at Uber, where they focus on enhancing the payments experience for riders and eaters through experimentation, causal inference, and machine learning. Previously, they held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Instacart, contributing to Fraud, Growth, and Retention product teams. Brett also served as a Research Assistant at Universiteit Utrecht and completed a PhD in Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. They began their career as an Editorial Assistant at Corwin Press, supporting the publication of numerous books.
