Chen Xu

Chen Xu is currently a Staff Applied Scientist and TLM at Uber, where they focus on marketplace investment, predictive modeling, causal inference, and optimization. They earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they also completed a Master of Science in Operations Research. Previously, Chen had internships as a Quant Strategist at KCG Holdings and a Machine Learning Data Scientist at Autodesk. Their early education includes a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Fudan University and high school at Shanghai High School.
