Chris Brummitt

Chris Brummitt is currently the Senior Director of Communications for APAC at Uber, where they manage a team of 15 communications professionals and drive strategies for reputation and brand awareness across nine markets. With fifteen years of experience as a journalist across Asia, they have honed a unique approach to communications, transforming complex issues into compelling narratives. Prior roles include Communications Manager at Google and various reporting positions with Bloomberg LP and the Associated Press, where they managed teams and broke significant stories on regional issues. They hold a First Class Honors degree in Indonesian Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
