Chris Golinski, PhD, is currently a Manager II in Applied and Data Science at Uber, where they have worked since 2024. They previously held various roles at Uber and HP, including Manager and Senior Data Scientist focused on pricing strategies. As an independent drummer and percussionist from 2009 to 2015, Chris released eight albums and performed internationally. They co-founded Sonifind, a music discovery app, and conducted research on digital music economies at the University of California, San Diego, where they also earned a PhD. Chris holds an MFA in Music Performance from Mills College and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
