Chris Harris is an accomplished Senior Director of Software Engineering currently at Uber, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of the Uber Delivery Marketplace since July 2023. Previously, Chris held the same title at Google from April 2013 to July 2023, contributing to the development of Google Assistant and applying machine learning to robotics, as well as playing a pivotal role in the growth of Google's Mobile App Ads business, including AdMob and Universal App Campaigns. Chris founded BrightCloud in January 2006, creating advanced URL content and security classification services through machine learning, and also served as President of Inventure Global, which specialized in tailored outsourcing for startups. Additionally, Chris founded WebPRpro, offering innovative solutions in media kits and search engine marketing. Chris earned a B.S. in Computer Science from UC San Diego in 2000.
