Daan Lakeman is a Senior Manager Tax at Uber, where they lead VAT advisory, policy, and controversy efforts across EMEA and the UK & Ireland. With a robust background in tax advisory from their time at PwC, Daan has specialized in advising multinational companies and optimizing VAT positions. They co-founded a tax advisory start-up and served as a Junior Tax Advisor before furthering their expertise with various advanced degrees in taxation. Currently, Daan is also a subject matter expert on indirect taxes at Business at OECD.
