Dan Moisa is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and platform management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Uber since August 2024, Dan leads the Fulfillment platform. Previously, as Director of Engineering at Databricks from April 2021 to August 2024, Dan spearheaded the Enterprise Platform. Before that, Dan was a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Verily Life Sciences from 2014 to 2017, where Dan played a key role in founding Google Life Sciences within Google X, focusing on cloud data solutions for the life sciences sector. Dan's diverse experience also includes multiple software engineering roles at Google from September 2007 to April 2011, where responsibilities included developing core functionalities for Product Search, Google My Business, Cloud IAM, and Google Payments.
