Dan Sawyer

Dan Sawyer is an engineering leader with over 15 years of experience in building and scaling backend infrastructure, distributed systems, and compute platforms. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Reddit, Dan has previously held significant roles at Uber, where they led high-impact technical programs and platform-wide migrations, as well as at GoGrid and Anagran, where they developed innovative software solutions. Dan is passionate about mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture in engineering teams. They hold a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and continue to advance their education in the field.
