David Walsh-Jones

David Walsh-Jones is the Global Head of Business Operations (BizOps) at Uber, where they focus on enhancing business performance through innovative analytical capabilities. Previously, as Chief Economics Officer at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP, they established a new department aimed at improving decision-making within a large organization. David has held various roles, including General Manager at Uber, where they led the UK & Ireland marketplace, and Director of Strategy & Operations Consulting at Deloitte, working on major projects with top investment banks. They hold a first-class BSc in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of St Andrews, a Bobby Jones Scholarship from Emory University, and an MSc with Distinction in Mathematical Finance from the University of Oxford.
