Emily Smith

Emily Smith is the Director of Employment at Uber, where they have also held positions as Counsel and Senior Counsel in Employment. Previously, Emily served as an Associate at Winston & Strawn LLP after completing a summer associate role there. Their legal journey began as a Litigation Legal Assistant at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and they gained initial experience as an extern for the Honorable Stephen J. Hillman at the US Courts. Emily holds a BA in History and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan, as well as a JD from Loyola Law School, and attended New York University School of Law.
