Faraz Javed

Faraz Javed is an operations and strategy professional currently serving as the Head of Marketplace Operations at Uber in Saudi Arabia. They have a robust background in launching and scaling online ride-sharing and delivery businesses across multiple countries, including Pakistan, Egypt, UAE, and KSA. Previously, Faraz held various leadership roles at Swvl, where they managed operations and marketplace performance in Cairo, Saudi Arabia, and the GCC region. They also contributed significantly to Careem by launching its food and grocery delivery service in Pakistan and managing supply operations across the country. Faraz holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NED University and an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
