Fei Wu

Fei Wu possesses a strong background in engineering and technology, with substantial experience in leadership roles across notable companies. As the Director of Engineering at Uber from July 2019 to September 2022, Fei Wu led the Rides Trip Pricing efforts, focusing on optimizing trip pricing strategies for both drivers and riders through advanced quantitative methods, including machine learning and deep learning. Prior to Uber, Fei Wu co-founded and served as CTO of AFanta, concentrating on innovative applications of deep learning and computer vision in social video experiences. Additional experience includes positions as Principal Software Engineer at Houzz, where Fei Wu improved product catalog quality, and Senior Software Engineer at Google, focusing on data and infrastructure. Fei Wu holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington and both a BS and MS in Automation from Tsinghua University.
