Fergus McCormick

Fergus McCormick currently serves as Senior Manager for Privacy & Cybersecurity at Uber, a role assumed in February 2020 that involves leading privacy program management, developing privacy products, overseeing privacy operations, conducting regulatory compliance gap analyses, and managing FTC obligations. Prior to this, Fergus held the position of Lead Program Manager for Privacy at EY from August 2015 to February 2020, where responsibilities included leading teams for large-scale transformations and regulatory compliance programs for notable clients such as Uber and The Walt Disney Company. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Consultant in Program Management for the Australian Department of Home Affairs from February 2009 to July 2015, focusing on Refugee & Humanitarian Program Management. Fergus holds a Master’s Degree in International Security from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from The Australian National University.
