Gaurav Jindal

Gaurav Jindal is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Currently employed at Uber since February 2021, Gaurav has progressed from Software Engineer I to Software Engineer II. At the University of Virginia, Gaurav served as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on large transformer models for sentiment analysis, achieving significant improvements in model efficiency. Previous experience includes a software engineering internship at Uber's Advanced Technology Group and a data scientist role at OYO, where notable accomplishments include enhancing image classification accuracy significantly using CNN architectures. Gaurav also contributed to founding the Data Science Group at IIT Roorkee, strengthening the data-driven culture at the institution.
