Jaime Gomez has extensive experience in strategic operations and management within the ecommerce and retail sectors. As General Manager for Uber in Peru and Colombia from June 2022 to May 2024, Jaime led country strategies to position Uber as a top ecommerce solution, achieving positive EBITDA. Previously, Jaime served as Head of Strategic Operations - Retail Mexico, overseeing operations across over 50 cities and 500 stores. Earlier roles include demand planning and key account management at Grupo Herdez and leadership positions at Cornershop by Uber, where Jaime focused on driving brand revenue growth and managing relationships with top consumer packaged goods accounts. Jaime holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has completed international studies at Victoria University and Copenhagen Business School.
