James Grace is currently the Director, Tax Counsel at Uber in New York City, a position held since 2022. Prior to this role, James served as Tax Counsel at Uber from 2017 to 2019 and worked in various legal capacities, including as an Associate at Paul Hastings LLP from 2014 to 2017. James obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a concentration in Taxation from Harvard Law School in 2014 and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Ottawa in 2012, graduating magna cum laude. Additionally, James holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from Queen's University, awarded with 1st Class Honors.
