James Parker

James Parker is currently the Director of Product Management at Uber, where they focus on marketplace strategies. They previously held positions as a Group Product Manager and Product Manager at Google, specializing in search ads and Chrome OS hardware. James began their career as a Sailing Instructor with the City of Oakland's Parks and Rec and later served as a Contributing Writer for The Daily Californian. They also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley and a Research Apprentice at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. James earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
