Janille Torres is currently the Senior Manager for APAC COE Communications and Engagement at Uber, where they focus on supporting Driver Activations and Transport operations, identifying training needs, and developing relevant solutions. Prior to this role, Janille worked as a Learning Specialist and Team Lead at Uber, onboarding new operations specialists and launching various successful projects. Before joining Uber in 2016, Janille taught English at Ateneo de Manila Grade School from 2011 to 2016, developing lesson plans and utilizing technology in the classroom. Janille holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and is pursuing a Master of Education at Ateneo de Manila University.
