Jason Pearlman

Jason Pearlman is the Senior Engineering Manager at Uber. Jason was previously the VP of Engineering at rewardStyle from September 2016 to September 2020. Jason was responsible for leading engineering for liketoknowit following the successful acquisition of Rollcall. Jason oversaw all integration, development, and deployment for the rebranded app, liketoknowit, launching in less than 6 months after acquisition. Jason also architected and wrote a number of microservices in Go and Python, helping to prove out and adopt needed technologies across rewardStyle. Additionally, they remotely mentored and grew the liketoknowit teams from 8 to 25+ people becoming some of the most productive and execution focused at rewardStyle, while continuing to lead a small local New York team. Jason also led the transition to a devops culture by designing and developing a chatops platform in AWS leveraging Cloudformation, ECS, Github deployments and Slack bringing deploys from monthly to daily. Jason is known for empowering teams with ownership, empathy, and trust. Jason also helped establish processes that increased communication, morale and engineering quality. Jason worked closely with the business, sales, marketing, product and design teams to drive the liketoknowit app to over 1MM monthly users.

Jason Pearlman earned their BS in computer science from the New York Institute of Technology and their MBA from LIU Post.
