Jason Wien

Jason Wien is a Staff Software Engineer at Uber, where they focus on designing algorithms to optimize real-time operations. They have previously held roles as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Uber from 2022 to 2024. Jason also gained valuable experience as a Fellow at Insight Data Science in 2018 and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. They began their academic journey at Harvard University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Mathematics, followed by a Master's degree from the University of Waterloo.
