Jess Sun

Jess Sun is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Uber, where they work on building both traditional and deep learning models to enhance the company’s operational efficiency and user experience. Previously, Jess held various roles at Uber, including Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer. They obtained a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Florida, where also served as a Teaching and Research Assistant. Jess began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Science from Peking University, where they conducted research in 3D architecture modeling and intelligent transportation systems.
