Jian Guan is a Staff Software Engineer with over 15 years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems. Presently, Jian leads the initiative to develop the Uber Security Knowledge Platform, transforming the security organization into a proactive, data-driven model. Jian's prior experience includes roles at Google as Tech Lead Manager, where they managed Google Service Management, and positions at Amazon and Bloomberg early in their career. Jian holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from New York University, earned between 2008 and 2010.
