Jiexin Chen

Jiexin Chen is a data science and machine learning professional with extensive experience in demand forecasting, credit risk modeling, and data engineering. At Arena, a transformer model was developed for time series demand forecasting, along with code optimization in Python and SQL. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Nova Credit, Jiexin Chen focuses on credit risk modeling and consumer income prediction using extensive datasets. Previous roles include research assistance at the System Biology Institute and various positions at Caltech, involving teaching and research in control theory and reinforcement learning. Jiexin Chen holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and anticipates a new role at Uber starting in December 2024.
