Joan Williams

Joan Williams is a Senior Product Designer at Uber, where they focus on enhancing the Rider Core design team to improve the rideshare experience for millions of users globally. They hold a master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Washington and have previously worked as a UX designer and front-end developer in various organizations, including Össur and Seattle Against Slavery. Joan is also actively involved in the UX community through mentoring and facilitating programs at the University of Washington. In addition to their professional work, they are passionate about urban farming and community engagement, serving as the Block Watch Captain in their neighborhood.
