Juan Labaqui

Juan Labaqui is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in corporate communications, public affairs, and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for Uber in the South Cone, Andean, and Caribbean regions since March 2018, Juan has held various leadership positions within the company focusing on strategic communications. Prior to this, Juan was a Vice President at Edelman, providing corporate, crisis, and risk communication strategies, and also worked as a Corporate & Public Affairs Accounts Director at MSLGROUP. Additional experience includes serving as a member of the board at Consejo Profesional de Relaciones Públicas and holding various consulting roles. Juan holds a Master's degree in Public Policy with a focus on Latin American Politics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires.
