Kara Flietstra is an accomplished entrepreneur and professional with a diverse background in the culinary, hospitality, and marketing industries. As the Founder, Owner, and Master Chef at Dank Donuts since 2010, Kara has created a popular baking destination in Big Bear Lake, CA. In addition, Kara owns Concierge Big Bear, providing tailored luxury vacation experiences. With extensive experience in marketing and operations at Life of Leisure Marketing and Flux Bindings, as well as roles as a host on Airbnb and a driver for Uber, Kara demonstrates versatility and expertise. Furthermore, Kara served as Activities Director at Laurel Pines Camp, where event promotion and camper registration were key responsibilities. Early career roles included Extended Day Supervisor at Los Alamitos Unified School District and Fork Lift Operator at Art Bousema Construction.
