Karen Trejo holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Finance from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and completed a Data Analytics bootcamp at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2022. With extensive experience in risk operations and fraud prevention, Karen currently serves as the Sr Risk Operations Manager for Latin America at Uber since September 2025. Prior to this role, Karen worked at Bitso for two years, initially as the Fraud Prevention Manager and later as the Fraud Process & Continuous Improvement Manager. At Nu, from May 2021 to September 2023, Karen held various positions, including CX Coordinator for Credit Management and CX Supervisor for Quality Cross Squads and Financing Products. Karen began a career in research at Ipsos, where roles included Researcher and Research Executive in Customer Experience and Audience Measurement.
