Luke Kung

Luke Kung is currently the Tech Lead for Machine Learning at Uber, focusing on marketplace pricing and incentives. Previously, they served as a Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Facebook, where they led projects in deep reinforcement learning and developed end-to-end video recommendation systems. Their extensive experience includes roles at Google, where they improved search infrastructure and quality for Google Play and image search, and at Machine Zone, Inc., where they designed scalable ML systems. Luke co-founded Intumit, Inc., and began their career as an intern at Qualcomm. They are currently a PhD candidate and also pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they also completed their Bachelor's degree.
