Manan Bhatia

Manan Bhatia is currently a Manager in Decision Science at Uber, leading a seven-member team focused on Earner Fraud and Abuse mitigation for the global Mobility and Delivery business. Previously, Manan held roles as a Decision Scientist II and India Risk Lead at Uber, where significant contributions included building solutions that generated over $25 million in annualized savings and developing an Anti-Money-Laundering Transaction Monitoring System. With a background in chemical engineering and physics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, along with a module in Strategy and Leadership from Harvard Business School, Manan has also gained diverse experience as a Program Manager at Helpchat and a Business Analyst at Super Highway Labs Pvt Ltd. Their professional interests include cognitive neuroscience, machine learning, and behavioral economics.
