Marinus van Gestel

Marinus van Gestel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the e-commerce and logistics sectors across Latin America. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Latin America for Grocery and Retail at Uber since December 2023, Marinus leads operations across 12 markets following the integration of Cornershop into Uber. Prior to this role, Marinus was Head of Latin America at Cornershop from January 2020 to December 2023. Marinus held various leadership positions at Linio Group from January 2015 to January 2020, including Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, and managed the overall results of operations in multiple South American countries. Previous professional experience includes senior roles at Groupon and McKinsey & Company, with early involvements in consulting and financial advisory. Marinus holds a BSc in International Business Economics from Maastricht University and completed executive education at Stanford University.
