Michael A. Keith

Michael A. Keith has extensive experience in data science, analytics, and education. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Columbia University from June 2019 to June 2024, Michael taught graduate-level courses in applied analytics, focusing on statistical programming, decision-making, and ethics in data and AI, while also mentoring students. In a role as Principal Data Scientist at The City University of New York from April 2020 to October 2025, Michael led AI and analytics initiatives in collaboration with government partners and managed a high-performing data science team. Prior experience includes positions as a Data Analyst with the New Jersey State Department of Education, a Data Manager and Software Developer for the NYC Department of Education, and currently as a Quantitative Analyst in Global Security at Uber. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
