Mohamed Ali

Mohamed Ali possesses a diverse professional background with experience in research, finance, casework, interpreting, customer service, and public health. As a Research Assistant at Murdoch University, responsibilities included conducting interviews and providing feedback. Mohamed served as Treasurer for the Somali Community Association (WA), managing finances and fundraising. In the role of Case Worker at CATHOLIC MIGRANT CENTRE, activities included planning settlement activities and networking with various agencies. Subsequent positions included Interpreter at the DEPARTMENT OF IMMIGRATION AND BORDER PROTECTION and ONCALL INTERPRETERS AND TRANSLATORS, as well as a Customer Service Representative at the Australian Taxation Office. Recently, Mohamed has worked as a Covid-19 Surveillance Officer with the Department of Health (WA Health) and is currently a Driver for Uber.
