Paul Kane

Paul Kane is currently the Head of Safety for Uber in the UK and Ireland, where they lead efforts in Trust and Safety to foster a secure environment. Previously, they served as a Safety and Compliance Manager at Ola, overseeing safety and compliance across the UK and managing the onboarding of over 10,000 private hire drivers. Paul has extensive experience in law enforcement as a Police Sergeant with the Metropolitan Police and Hertfordshire Constabulary, where they led teams in response policing and taxi enforcement. They began their career as a Travel Consultant at Thomas Cook and have also held positions as a Mortgage Underwriter at Nationwide Building Society and a Sr Manager for Safety Operations at DiDi. Paul is currently furthering their studies at the College of Policing.
