Ryuichiro Iwanami

Ryuichiro Iwanami is an experienced professional in public policy and government relations, currently serving as the Head of Public Policy & Government Relations for Uber in Japan since March 2021. Prior to this role, Ryuichiro held the position of Senior Public Policy Manager at Uber and worked as the Special Assistant to the Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture from November 2018 to February 2021. Ryuichiro’s earlier experience includes serving as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees and Chief Administrative Officer at Colorado Heights University, as well as Manager of Global Business Development at Japan Sotheby's International Realty. Ryuichiro began a career in legislative policy as the House Majority Deputy Director of Policy and Communications for the Colorado General Assembly. Academically, Ryuichiro earned a Master's degree in Public Management from Waseda University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado Denver.
