Sambit Acharya

Sambit Acharya is a Senior Software Engineer at Uber since April 2021, previously holding positions as Software Engineer II. Prior to Uber, Sambit worked at CleverTap from August 2018 to April 2021 as a Staff Software Engineer, focusing on data storage and processor microservices, service design for reliability and scalability, and high-volume event ingestion. Earlier experience includes roles at Indus Appstore, where Sambit was involved in server management for key products and data pipeline development, and at HackerEarth as a Software Engineering Intern with a focus on full stack development. Sambit began a career in web and backend development during internships at Ascian Consultancy and the National Informatics Center. Sambit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
