Shingo Sakai

Shingo Sakai is a Facility, Workplace and EHS Specialist at Uber since October 2021, responsible for delivering EHS services across Japan and South Korea. In this role, Shingo conducts risk assessments, oversees safety training for new hires, and leads health committees to ensure a safe and healthy workplace. Prior to Uber, Shingo served as Facilities Lead at WeWork, managing facilities across over 30 locations and handling service requests, and as Facilities Coordinator and HSE Manager at JLL, where Shingo developed maintenance strategies for multifaceted clients. Shingo began a career in customer service at Senwa Maritime Agency, achieving significant efficiency improvements. Shingo's education includes an Exchange Student Programme in EU Politics at Aarhus University.
