Shuyu CHEN

Shuyu Chen is currently a Scientist at Uber, where they focus on optimizing real-time demand and supply dynamics for Uber Eats. Previously, Shuyu held roles as an Operations Research Consultant at American Airlines, optimizing crew scheduling during weather disruptions, and as a Business Intelligence Developer at Apple. They also worked as a Research Scientist at Amazon in 2018. Shuyu obtained a PhD in Business Administration with a focus on Operations Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and has a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
