Simran Arora is a Chartered Accountant and an indirect tax professional with experience in both consulting and industry. Simran completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance at Kurukshetra University and later became a Chartered Accountant through The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Simran's past roles include Article Trainee at SS Kothari Mehta & Co, where they handled GST compliance, and Consultant at EY, where they focused on GST compliance, advisory, and litigation for major clients. Currently, Simran serves as a Senior Tax Analyst at Uber, managing global indirect tax compliances, and has also worked as a Senior Associate at Zomato covering GST compliance.
