Sudipto Pal

Sudipto Pal is an experienced applied science leader currently working at Uber as a Manager in Applied Science II, focusing on enhancing customer experience through experiments and hypothesis testing. Previously, they served as Director of Predictive Modeling at AIG, where they led a team in developing statistical and machine learning solutions across various lines of business. Sudipto also held roles at Walmart Labs and Swiss Re, contributing to model development, mentorship of data scientists, and analysis within diverse domains. They earned a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Additionally, Sudipto has championed inclusivity as the ex-chair of the LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group at Walmart Labs.
