Sven Schaffrath

Sven Schaffrath has extensive experience in the fields of marketplace operations and economic analysis. Currently serving as Head of Marketplace for both Iberia and Southern Europe at Uber since December 2015, Sven has held several key positions within the company, including Operations & Logistics Manager and Sr. Marketplace Ops Southwest Europe. Prior to Uber, Sven worked at CPA Ferrere from August 2013 to December 2015 as Manager of Economic Analysis and Business Analytics, specializing in quantitative-analytical tools for business decision-making and optimization. Sven's career also includes previous roles as Economic Senior Consultant at CPA Ferrere, where economic analysis of the banking market and financial access was a focus, and as a Teacher Assistant at Universidad ORT Uruguay in Game Theory and Economic Principles. Sven holds a Master of Science in Econometrics and Operations Research from Maastricht University, a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad ORT Uruguay, and a Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering from Universidad de la República.
