Tim Smyth is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Uber since July 2017, Tim has also held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer within the same company. Prior to Uber, Tim was the CTO at VentureSpace.NYC from November 2016 to July 2017 and worked as a Freelance Web Developer from 2014 to 2016. Tim’s earlier experience includes software development roles at GMO, Skimmin, and two positions at Motorola, where responsibilities ranged from software development to co-founding a company. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.
