Utkan Candogan

Utkan Candogan is a Staff Scientist and ML Developer at Uber Eats, bringing over 10 years of industry and research experience in large-scale ranking and recommendation systems. Prior to their current role, Utkan was an Applied Scientist at Uber and completed a PhD in Convex Optimization at the California Institute of Technology in 2019. They also held positions at Goldman Sachs and Qualcomm, where they contributed to data analysis and algorithm development. Utkan's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Bilkent University and Caltech.
