Vignesh Murugesan

Vignesh Murugesan is a Senior Staff Engineer at Uber, with experience since June 2016 in building and scaling Uber's Mobility and Delivery services. Vignesh has served as tech lead for projects such as the Earner Benefits Platform and the Driver-Platform backend, contributing to various critical systems including Uber's Ads Platform and Feedback platform. Additionally, Vignesh played a key role as a founding engineer for Uber's Tipping platform, scaling it significantly. Prior to Uber, Vignesh worked at Microsoft from October 2008 to June 2016, where contributions included developing DRM features for PlayReady, an Agile ECC cryptography framework, and networking features for Windows. Early career experience includes internships at Quizmine.Com and Mindtree, alongside an education in Information Technology from Amrita School of Engineering.
