Wei Fu

Wei Fu is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in security engineering and software development. Currently serving as Director of Core Security Engineering at Uber since May 2019, Wei Fu oversees production IAM and governance, ensuring IAM compliance. Previously, Wei Fu held multiple roles at VMware, including Director of R&D, where contributions included delivering Kubernetes-as-a-Service and core identity management solutions. Earlier experience includes positions at Likewise Software and SEL, with a strong foundation in computer science, holding a Ph.D. from Washington State University and completing an Executive Leadership Development Program at Stanford University.
