Wendy Hu

Wendy Hu has a strong background in data science and research, with experience at prominent organizations. At Pfizer, Wendy worked as a Data Science Intern, evaluating the clinical potential of biomarkers through meta-analysis and presenting findings at Science Forums. During tenure at Rice University as a Research Assistant, Wendy developed innovative algorithms, including "Shrinkage Clustering," which showcased exceptional accuracy and speed compared to traditional methods, as well as "Progeny Clustering," a novel cluster validation algorithm. Currently, as an Applied Science Manager at Uber, Wendy leads a team focused on competition strategies leveraging statistics, causal inference, and machine learning.
